The Bar-On, Cohen Law Firm was founded about 30 years ago, in 1993, by the two partners – Adv. Vered Cohen and Adv. Ra'anan Bar-On. Adv. Vered Cohen: 53 years of age, a mother of four children, a graduate of the Amana Religious Seminary for Girls. She completed her law studies at Tel-Aviv University and frequently lectures in legal matters that interest the public. Adv. Cohen published the novel "Private Justice", which was inspired by one of the cases handled by Advocates Bar-On and Cohen. The book was very successful and garnered a great deal of public interest.
Adv. Ra'anan Bar-On: 59 years of age, an outstanding graduate of the practical stream at the Hebrew Reali School in Haifa. An officer in the Israel Defense Force (in regular and reserve service), he completed his bachelors and master's degrees in law with honors, is currently completing his doctorate degree in law and lectures on law related topics at various forums. Adv. Bar-On holds a number of posts at the Israel Bar Association, including as the Deputy Chairman of the Advisory Council for the appointment of judges to courts in Israel. In addition, Adv. Bar-On serves as a judge (Court President) in the Disciplinary Court of the Bar Association. Adv. Bar-On's name precedes him as a gifted attorney, who specializes in litigation in particularly complex cases. Adv. Bar-On resides in the Kiryat Ganim suburb of Ra'anana, is married to a senior physician and has 4 children. He is an expert in Martial Arts and in operational pistol shooting, likes long distance running, participates in marathons and routinely takes part in a wide range of sporting activities.
